How HELMUFS work:

HELMUFS attach to the straps of your helmet by folding around the "V" where the straps join on each side of the head and utilize velcro to hold them securely in place. The fit of HELMUFS is dependent on the fit of your helmet. If your helmet fits so will your HELMUFS.

Because HELMUFS attach to your helmet straps and not your head they don't get caught between your head and your helmet. In other words, HELMUFS will not affect helmet fit like headbands and other headware that covers the entire head. HELMUFS are made for serious all weather "helmet-clad" cyclists, not for skiiers.....unless they're wearing helmets!

HELMUFS are made from very soft recycled polyester fleece that keeps out the cold and wind, but not the sound. Whether you're riding the road or trails, its important not to compromise your sense of sound.
